Im starting to work on a load for my Remington 7600 243.Hodgdons web sight shows IMR7828 slinging a 100 grain bullet pretty fast. Will this powder cycle my 7600 well or is it too slow for my auto? Thanks
I had a Savage Edge in 223.Shot it alot and was a MOA rifle. If you want a no frills rifle that will work the Axis will fit the bill.I hated the stock made it feel like an airsoft rifle. The long action of the bolt was kinda awkward feeling but fuctioned perfect.I ended up selling it and getting a...
Look for a Remington Sportsman 78 bolt action. They can be purchased right.Great guns for the $$$$$$.Just got one in 30-06 with an older Redfield scope for $200 at a local shop.
I have a Savage Edge in 223 with a inexpensive BSA 6-24x40 scope and love it.Did the trigger job with a roll pin and Ace Hardware spring much improvement.Great shooter.
Ive got a Hi Point C9 that is used as a boat gun.Never a hiccup out of it.Warranty is the best in the business alot better than Rugers warranty that I have had problems with.
Got the brass ready to load my first 30-06 loads.Ill be using Winchester large rifle primers and Hornady 150g spizter bullets.I have 4 powders I could use IMR 4895,IMR 4320,Varget and H4350.These will be 100 yard hunting rounds if accurate. The gun is a Remington 760 carbine 18.5 inch...
Thanks for all the info guys.I think Im going to stay with the iron sights for a while and keep shots 50 yards and under until I get used to it.I will be reloading for it at some point.
Thanks guys.hardluk1 I have also been looking at Uncle Mikes holsters. Most of my shots will be around the 40-75 yard range but would like to sail one to 100 yards.Im thinking of red dot myself but going to shop around and make sure what I like.I think it might be a little challenging holding the...
Hi guy I purchased my first centerfire revolver today. What should I be expecting when I shoot this beast.Ill be firing WWB 240g Ive shot a 357mag before but not a 44mag.Any suggestions on a scope and holster,Would love to kill a whitetail with it before the season is out . Thanks.
I purchased a Savage Edge 223 from WallyWorld and installed a cheap 6-24x40 BSA scope.Great rifle for the money.Dime size groups at 100 yards if I do my part.Thinking about an Edge in 308 as a backup deer rifle.
My deer hunting has changed a little and have been shopping around to replace my old non-scoped mosin M44 with a scoped 30-06 or 270.I have owned a Remington 7600 270 for 21 years and absolutly love it like the day I purchased it.I have been debating between a new Marlin XL7 in 3006 or 270 and a...
I own a Glock 19 ,Sigma 9mm and Ruger P95.The Glock wins hand down for a carry gun.Accurate and well built. The Ruger is awsome but kinda bulky to carry. The Sigma is a great truck gun IMHO but not near the quality of the Glock you can just feel the difference. All 3 function great and accurate.
Anyone ever put a sling on a 10/22 with a Butler creek folding stock?I have a single point and a 2 point sling and looking for ideas to attach to my lil 22.
I wanted to go shooting a little after work today.Stopped by my neighborhood Walmart and the only inexpensive 22lr ammo they had was Remington Thunderbolt 22lr leadheads.$1.99 for 50.Well I purchased 3 boxes and headed to the feild.Pull out my old trusty Marlin 99 from behing the seat of the...
Great guns for the $.I have 2 C9 pistols and a 995 on the way.Never had a malfunction out of my C9s.Perfect truck or boat gun. They are not a Glock or Sig or so forth but work for what they are supposed to do.
