Related to another thread I just posted. 458 SOCOM base diameter being the same as 308 Win. what are the possibilities of rechanbering a Marlin 336 to use the 458 SOCOM? I know that the Marlins are rechambered to 308 Win. from 35 Rem. rifles so I was thinking...Perhaps. No lose to semiauto...
