I picked up a MAADI MISR a few weeks ago. Any one who has ever seen one know that the painted reciever leaves a lot to be desired. I stripped it and refinished it using Brownell's Aluma-hyde II in dark gray parkerizing. Also added a AK-74 style muzzle brake. Follow the link to see pics...

Hello all, I have a post ban Maadi MISR AK. I picked it up used and it has a Dragunov style stock on it now. Can I replace it with a pistol grip stock if I use one of the US made stock kits? Any info on this would be great. Thanks, Jason

So, given the choice which would you choose? I had a couple Norinco MAK-90's about 8 years ago, how do they compare to those?. The SAR-1 is priced a little higher than the WASR10 hi cap. Is the SAR-1 worth the extra $40.00? Any advice would be great. Thanks,
