Here's a pic of the new toy.
Pictured on top is the new DPMS M-4 upper on a new DPMS forged lower.

Looks nice in the safe with my ASA 16". I celebrated the end of the AWB by adding a CAR stock to it.

Are the handguards on the DPMS M4 standard? They look quite a bit thicker than the other handguards.

They are DPMS GlacierGuardsâ„¢
I think they are just thier version of the M-4 handguards. They are very comfortable. I hope to get out and shoot it in the next week or so.

Do you like your DPMS parts??

I am looking at building and there are so many choices it makes my head swirl..

I am very happy with the DPMS quality. I also have an ASA 16" CAR and have owned Colts in the past. I think DPMS is up to par with any of the top manufactures. The price was right on these also, for the upper and lower plus shipping I am in it for $606.00.
