    Cobray m11 9mm caliber conversion

    Not last time I checked.

    Sig MPX

It is my understanding that in some jurisdictions, the dealer must classify it differently, depending on state/local statutes. Probably only applies to the occupied territories and I live in a free state, so don't take it as gospel. Know your local laws.

    Muzzle thread pattern on SPAS-12

Does anyone with a SPAS-12 have a minute (or several) to check the thread pattern on the muzzle?

    Tommy Gun SBR

The last time I checked, the two guns were mutually exclusive. You could not add the stock to the pistol. Might want to ask their customer service.

50 Beowulf SBR upper or 12" slug gun?

That is my experience as well. One reason my .458 upper is gathering dust.

I have a (perhaps stupid) question about NFA engraving requirements

I do not remember whether I had seen it here or on another forum, but I remember a discussion about the requirement to engrave personal/trust information on the item when the Form 1 was approved. Some folks recommended doing the engraving FIRST in case the engraver got it wrong. Then 'someone'...

New Form 4 (5320.4) and new Form 5320.23 questions.

At my LGS, both the shop and a fellow that teaches a concealed carry class are "properly equipped to take fingerprints". The shop is an SOT and the instructor is approved by the state, so they both do it all the time. (A CWP is not a requirement here in Arizona, but there are advantages to...

What about trusts generated by shops selling NFA items?

Do you send JUST the Form 4 to the CLEO or do you send a copy of the whole package (fingerprints, photos, etc.)?

    Engraving SBR Lower...

On the two barrels you have built, all you need to engrave is the "maker" information. The example you gave is adequate. The serial number and caliber, etc. are all on the lower already (unless you finished an 80% lower, which is a whole other issue.) Putting the commercially built upper on...

    Do you have NFA friends?

Living in Arizona...especially well away from the liberal strongholds (a relative term) of Phoenix and Tucson, there are actually a lot of folks that have NFA items. I used to shoot my silenced subgun up on the fort until the new CG decided he didn't like guns(?). I used to be the 'resident...

Post a picture of your SBR

I was looking at the latest offering from Manticore for the same reason. Don't it will cover much of the suppressor (if any), but I'll get one anyway. https://www.manticorearms.com/new-products/scorpion-evo-transformer-forend.html

Freedom ordnance 9MM belt fed upper with 11" barrel

I'm a big fan of suppressive fire from my years in the infantry.

Freedom ordnance 9MM belt fed upper with 11" barrel

I actually have a couple of different .22 uppers AND one of the GI conversions. Mine runs okay because I learned a lot about the GI units from using them for a couple of decades in service. Lakeside unit is neat, but they have closed shop so support is "iffy" at best.

Freedom ordnance 9MM belt fed upper with 11" barrel

Nice. I have been considering one for use on a pistol with a 37mm launcher under the barrel. Just a way to 'stimulate conversation' at the range. Considered the ARES unit, but I agree with you on the usefulness of it vis-à-vis the magazines...especially since I do have the C-Mags. Right now...

Advice on double barrel project gun

Very nice! I took an old H&R goose gun in 10 gauge and did the same thing. Guys in the shop said it looks like something a plumber would bring in to fix a sink. I was going to SBS an Ithaca Roadblocker, just for S&Gs, but a friend really wanted it and talked me out of it. He uses it for...

Advice on double barrel project gun

I shortened a 10 gauge a while back (I know...crazy) and it was quite simple. After hacking it off to within a fraction of an inch from where I wanted it, I had a friend of mine put it in his mill and carefully shave off just enough material to make it square and clean. Used a bamboo skewer to...

    Post 41f paperwork

Outstanding! Thanks for the information. I had just about figured it out, but your summation is a huge help.
