    Al Franken Blinks on AWB

I received the typical "canned" response to my numerous e-mails to his office. He should be a hockey player the way he skated around the issue. My other Senator, Amy Klobuchar has never responded to my letters. How is that for representation....and we pay them for what they do!

    Fighter from a file

Edge quenched and triple-tempered. As I stated, it really follows no pattern. I guess one could apply any term to it they desire. Thanks for looking and all comments.

    Euroarms Project

You could try VTI gun parts. Euroarms are not listed as a manufacturer but I believe they outsourced their pistol work. Don't hurt to give it a shot.

    Stag and walnut skinner

I was finally able to finish one of the blades I have been working on between bouts of frostbite. The cold has hit with a vengeance and my shop/garage is freezing even with my puny heater. Enough whining! The knife is forged from 5160 steel. I made the guard/bolster from a slice of copper...

A work in progress -- FINISHED!

Sam. Let it go, be free. You can make another one.:D One of the reasons I do not have any knives that I've made is that by the time I finish one I have exhausted all my enthusiasm for said blade and wish for it to go to a new home. Your knife looks to be a winner in my book!

Why keep bringing up the 2nd Amendment?

You stated: "Your own post proves you wrong. You note that the Soviet Union made gun control effective in 1929. But the mass collectivization efforts you discuss, which caused the death of millions (mostly in the Ukraine) started around 1924, long before these areas were disarmed. And the bulk...
