Since I am a 1911 Junkie, I don't pay much attention to the larger revolvers(I have a model 38) Found this 66-2, and well lets just say, I will be paying better attention. Please feel free and post pictures of your revolvers.

Those K frame snubbies just reach and and grab you everytime.
I carry this one every day.

The M66 revolvers have a cult following nowadays and you have a very desirable variation there. The current trend is towards short barreled guns and there are few that attract more attention than a 2 1/2" 66. Congratulations on your new acquisition.

I have to make due with this old 4" 66 no dash.

The K frame will always be extremely popular and bring nice prices depending on condition.

Well snubs.. I have a thing about snubs.

Yep, you should definitely send some of those snubs to me. I don't have nearly enough.

I'm a lifelong Colt revolver fan, but the K frame Smith is the perfect size for my hands.

The K frame was also the quintessential .357 revolver of 1980s cop movies.

You need to swap those ugly sapwood grips for Uncle Mikes 'Boot Grips' asap. Every stainless or nickel-plated revolver deserves slim pair of elegant rubber gips.

Very nice. S&W has someone good making grips for them now. The grips on 60s,70s,80s stuff was pretty pathetic. The only nice ones were non-checkered finger groove stuff from late 80s and 90s the checkered stuff they put on standard factory offerings was awful.

Iggy (post n°11) :

Those ARE 3.5" mod. 27's aren't they ?
They are my Holy Grail guns.
Absolutely impossible to find over here.
(Did someone mention "drool bucket ?)

Another fan of the 27's here. I've been Jonesing for a blued 3 1/2" 27 for as long as I can remember. Problem is every time one comes along I've already spent the money on a different gun!
