It is a birthright, you are correct. The way I tried to say it was that being citizens gives us this right, and most of us were born here. For those who were not born here, but are citizens, it would not be a birthright. It would be a privilege to them. Both right and both wrong. As far as...
I'll set up my own lodge and charge $25 per person a day to hunt, and $40 all inclusive per day. Just gotta get back to Tennessee and I'll set er up :)
agreed ;) not that there isnt coyotes within vegas but might be illegal-ish :) Lots of desert out there, first find a place that is legal (BLM-Bureau of Land Management is good place to look. Then look for rabbits or signs of rabbits, set up in a shaded area ( back against sage brush)
you can also check out choate's stocks. They have the ultimate sniper stock and a folding sniper stock.
Also when ordering a stock make sure you specify and choose a long action stock. http://www.choatestocks.com
I also own a Savage 110 (basically the same as 111) but mine is in .22-250. And I agree the .22-250 is faster and flatter shooting but .223 ammo can be had for around $10 a box. .22-250 is more expensive but if the majority of your shots are past 400 i would fork over the extra cash for the...
I've noticed that no one has bothered to ask you what the average range you think your quarry will be at. It differs from area to area. Also noticed no one gave much attention to the fact you will be hunting in a fairly urban area.
As long as the majority of your shots are within 200 yards...
If it turns out you don't like your NEF and want to sell/trade it, just pm me and we will discuss it. What model is it and what kind of stock? Finish of barrel?
I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinions, even if they are wrong lol.
I have done some fairly extensive tests on .22LR ammo. Using both semi-auto and bolt action rifles and even hanguns. Remington is by far the worst I have tested. Accuracy wise most of it is fine, but reliablility...
Anyone who cares enough about their family and the fundamentals that this country was founded upon will fight for these freedoms that we are born with. A firearm is a privilege of which we have earned by being mentally stable and paying our taxes.
I love my country not for what it is...
I agree Thirty06ss :)
The gun hobby is different for everyone for the following reasons;
-Budget: influences what guns and how many guns you buy.
-Personality: influences what kind of guns you buy, and the need/want is different for all of us
-Usage: whether competitions, hunting...
Remington .22 ammo even their "Eley" Match and Club Extra=unreliable. Couldn't get 5 rounds through without a misfire. And yes my rifle is very reliable.
I would avoid the snap cap style if you are planning on having them loaded into a magazine. Most are too short and dont feed correctly.
Go with the feeding dummies.
Agreed. A 12 gauge loaded with buckshot of any sort would have been more effective and safe. Home Defense=Shotgun, handguns are nice when you have time to aim effectively but a shotgun is the best choice when in a stressed situation.
My name is Keenan, I hail from Tennessee/Utah. I am an avid hunter, and shooter. I participate in both Smallbore Silhoutte competitions and IDPA type handgun. I love my guns lol
My collection (always changing :)
