To whom do I write to get authorization to use that picture at my Facebook account?!

Doc,

No one. I can send you my photobucket link to it if you want. I also have a few other dandies. Them squirrels are always acting crazy. If you want, you can google "funny squirrel pictures." It is amazing to think about how many people in this world with too much time on their hands.

How do ya score a squirrel's rack?

For the HBTRSS you simply take the boss at the widest point + the length of each horn on the outside of the curl X the combined weight of the tusks + the width and length of the skull + the squared hide.

Please, bring the childlings here, then,
Seriously, go out hunting; iff, the "action" is slow, shoot any repeatably "identifiable*" target.

*Identifiable, while not a real word, it is a better word.

Traveling by car, I'll take a legal firearm with me out of state, just in the off chance I'll get in some target shooting or legal small game hunting. Depends on where I'm headed, and the cost of a non-resident small game license. But I'd probably not pay a lot JUST to go and hunt tree rats ...

There are some places I've never been that I'd pay something to go to ... and if I could hunt there, it would be a bonus!

I'm thinking that picture of the French Infantry squirrel is fake...

if he was really French, he'd be dropping the gun and running away

:neener:

touche. You are correct, redneck. I should have said he was a jihadist squirrel or perhaps Eastern European. I thought that after Sarkozy was elected that the French might have grown a spine but probably not.

What? Identifiable is most definitely a real word. It is an adjective form of identify.

Some of you scoff at the mighty squirrel....... As mentioned above here in Washington state all native squirrels are protected...Not so the wily Eastern grey squirrel.. They are thick in the small town where I live...But they know that I can't shoot them inside city limits so they taunt me regularly.. I remeber well the day one attacked my daughter and I as I walked her to school... Pity the man that has a squirrel run up his pant leg...single mindedly attacking his nuts....The horror, the horror..

John 828, I love that CZ .22.

Yeah, me too. That gun will never see a scope. It shoots too sweet with the iron sights and makes me look like a good shooter. When my eyes fail, that beauty will be passed on to another generation.

There's a rabid group of hunters over at rimfirecentral that has two annual organized squirrel hunts. They take it real serious and travel from far abroad. Mostly they just sit around the fire and shoot the bull and try to steal Sarge's beer from what I heard, but a few of them, go out and ravage the squirrel herds.

I'll trade you a squirrel hunt for a whitetail bowhunt. Ill guarantee 100 percent success too.

there is a squirrel hunting contest here think its on its second year. i love hunting them but wouldnt drive more than 50 miles for it.

I'll set up my own lodge and charge $25 per person a day to hunt, and $40 all inclusive per day. Just gotta get back to Tennessee and I'll set er up :)

I was probably three when I was attacked by a squirrel as I sat on the ground in the back yard. He came up and bit my big toe. I managed to escape with my life, but have waged war on them since.

I picked up a Marlin 1894M recently that I'm eager to try on squirrel. My new crockpot needs a workout!
