I've owned glocks and m&p's,both were reliable and accurate. I like both brands but the m&p has a better feel in my hand than a glock. The fn I've never owned or shot one, so I can't give an honest opinion either way.

At the range saturday my father and I sighted his gun in at 2'' at 100. We then shot the 300yd range and he was hitting bullseye holding dead on center. I don't know if he was getting lucky or what but it happened 3 times in a row.

I've owned an m77 in .243 and currently own a very old m70 in .300wm. They were/still are great shooters and I wouldn't hesitate a second to purchase either one again.

I know this thread is for the 336 but, with my win 94 I can get 2'' groups with factory irons and ammo all day long. I've always heard that the 336 is more accurate than the 94so maybe you need to invest in some better sights or just try your luck again on a more calm day.

I have a cheap Thompson Center Black Diamond ($100.00) and it does great. I'm sure you can fing something of that sort for about the same $. Good luck and happy hunting!

The m&p feels better in my hand than the glock but thats all up to personal prefrence. Either way you go will be an excellent choice for what you want.
