Did a little search, couldn't find what i was after.
I have little time for experimentation, and was wondering if a name brand 45 colt case that has both non-cannelured and cannelured cases, will there be an accuracy difference between the cases(all else equal)? (Or am i "much ado about nothing")
Thanks!

Those rings/indentations generally get "ironed out" on the inside of the cases in 1 or 2 firings. Nothing to worry about or do anything about.

No difference at all. Just load them both the same.

Hope this helps.

Piling on - same same. Worst case, an extra step of diligence would be to check the weight and internal volume of a select set of both types to ensure you ACTUALLY have equivalent brass (which is largely the point of sorting by headstamp in the first place, right?).

Yeah I also don't notice any difference. I sort my revolver brass by headstamp since it's so easy to do though, so if it does make a difference hopefully it's consistent!

In 45 Colt you should be doing a roll crimp into the bullets crimp groove so I don't see why it would matter in the case.
