!0 Shot 22cal. Speedloaders

Don't take what I am about to type as being right or wrong or being something I believe since I have no clue on if it is right. I read it on some message board and want some opinions on it.
Anyway, someone said that because of 22s being rimfire you could have a problem with the way hks speedloaders and others retain the round. The way they work is fine for centerfire rounds, but on a rimfire there is the slim chance the rim could get a pressure point if someone knocked the speed loader around in a rough manner.
I figure this may be right and it may be wrong. Since I have never seen a 22 rimfire speedloader I don't know.
I would love some speedloaders for my 8 shot 22 rimfire revolver since that would allow me to cheaply work on improving speeloading things at the range.

I sorta kinda talk to the HKS folks once in a while, since they're not too far down the road, in northern Ky. If memory serves, the walls between the chambers in a speedloader for a 617 would just be too darn thin for the plastic they use.

Yes, they do make speedloaders for .22's. I have Five 6 shot loaders for my S&W model 63's and one six shot loader for my S&W 617 (and a 6 shot .22 Magnum one for my S&W 648). I don't know of anybody that makes them in a 10 shot though.
To be honest, they are not real practical due to .22's being so dirty. After the first 1 to 3 reloads, the cartridges will not drop into the chambers and have to be assisted with your thumb after removing the loader.

Ultraman is right, and probably understates the problem. Even slick-cleaned chambers will not allow .22LR's to drop in far enough to permit the cylinder to close. .22LR speedloaders a complete waste of effort/money, IMNSHO.
