Got my wife a new S&W Bodyguard which she picked out and loves. I want to get her a couple of speedloaders. Looking at the HKS 36-A but read one review that they don't fit well, really tight to the frame.
Anyone have actual experience with the S&W Bodyguard and the HKS 36-A or any other speed loader for this model?

No.
But I have lots of experience with them in a J-Frame S&W, which I think is the same size.

Yes, they are a tight fit, because there is hardly any cylinder clearance for a speed-loader when the cylinder is open .

But they do work, with practice.

You just have to Hold your Mouth Right, while Twiddling and Diddling them into the right position to get them to drop the cartridges cleanly.

For some folks the HKS does not work well, not sure why.

I shot PPC for two decades and we rarely saw anything else on the line. I used them in "J", "K", and "L" framed revolvers I used to compete. They worked well. But there is not a lot of wiggle room with the "J" frames.

Speed Strips

W/O any idea how your lady carries her mini blaster, if she is gonna also carry a reload, Speed Strips looks like a better idea.
