anybody know where i can get 1/2x28, 1/2x32 and other specialty dies and taps for threadding barrels?
right now i can turn down and thread barrels on a lathe,
from chucking on the part, turning it down, thread cutting and 3 wire, i can get the job done in less than 30 minutes or so, depends on the barrel diameter. but thats not the problem...
a fellow that bought several threadded barrels from me need the threads cleaned out and chased.
also, i need to make him SOME MORE thread caps so this wont happen again. apparently he looses stuff too much.
