I was looking at a CZ 550 and noticed that it's listed as having a 1:14" twist- isn't 1:10"-1:12" standard for a .30-06?

How badly will this limit bullet choice and what's the heaviest you would shoot out of it? Are there any advantages to it? Do any other manufacturers use that slow of a twist rate?

I looked at the CZ 550 FS and the CZ 550 American, and they are both listed as 1 in 12". Where did you see 1 in 14"?

CZ shows all the 30-06's to be 1:12, that should be ok for 180 gr. loads. I think you only need 1:10 when shooting the 200 and 220 gr. bullets.
