$10,000 Allowance

Second, I would buy her a nice gift.

Absolutely and since my wife never quibbles about any gun I buy I just might take her diamond shopping and spend most of it for that. I have never understood women's like for diamonds or anyone's for that matter. They are just shiny trinkets that do nothing but she along with most women LOVE them. I think most women have some crow genes as both like bright, shiny things.

Please DO NOT tell her I said that.

Hi...
If I had $10,000 to spend on firearms, I would most likey buy a couple more Sako rifles, a couple more N frame S&W or Dan Wesson revolvers and spend the balance on SAA clones or 1911 pistols.
I certainly would not need my wife's permission or approval. I don't ask for it now and she never questions why I acquired another gun. And, yes...I show her every one that I buy.

Apparently my post commenting that my wife doesn’t dictate my spending offended the henpecked crowd.
Get over it.

By the way, it’s not because I’m a macho tough guy, it’s because she is an independent capable and competent person who doesn’t feel the need to be controlling.

I bumped submit before I meant to.

1. S&W Mountain Gun .45 Colt
2. Ruger Redhawk .45 Colt / .45 ACP model 5050
3. S&W 686+ 3”
4. An 8 shot .357 - not sure which one.
5. As many older S&Ws I can get with what’s left.

I think I want to amend my list. I think instead of the 686 I would rather have a model 27 in that slot on the list.
Also, I would add a Henry Big Boy revolver.

Is she virtual?

If I had 10 Grand to spend on revolvers, it would be on early S&Ws in excellent condition or better, including the Schoefield they made in the 90s I think.
It would take me a few years to find the ones I wanted, I wouldn't overpay just because I have the cash in hand.
I would still want to feel I got a fair deal on what I bought.
I would still have to sneak in a couple cartons of primers though. Just because.

EVERYONE should at least once in their lifetime own a Colt SSA either 44-40 or .45 LC , barrel length is optional I like the 5" personally .
I've got a Dandy pair in 44-40 factory nickle 1876 & 1881 . I got them off and old 90+ cowboy in Arizona , might have been his fathers rig as he too was a cow puncher before it became a State .

4" Colt Anaconda
S&W M625 in 45C and fitted to accept moonclips
4" or 5" S&W M986 or M929

But the real question is this: does that allowance continue on a monthly basis?
YES! wife’s lost uncle left her with bitcoins he forgot her had!

Yes! $10,000 monthly! lol

edit note: this is hypothetical ^^^

I’m going back to North Carolina this Summer and will be carrying my 7.5” Colt SAA .45 LC. I don’t care… I like showing off!
