So I've wanted to build a 10/22 bench gun, like all the cool kids have. I bought a used 10/22 from the local range, and gutted it. I kept the receiver and the bolt... I guess that's it. I had a good friend who was in on the project too; we had different end-products in mind.

I went with a Volquartsen FCG and an 18" Shooter's Ridge barrel, he went with the same FCG but a 16" threaded Whistlepig barrel. We both have some variant of the Evolution laminate stock. We both have the equivalent of Hubble jr. for a scope (6x24-50). Mine is the rather subdued grey one, his is the flamboyant red one.

I apologize for the garbage pictures, I had to use my phone for pics since my wife had the camera at the time.

Non-match ammo; I plan to shrink those groups down quite a bit. Those were just function tests.

Thanks, gvnwst. I was about to run you down for the next month's rimfire match. I've got two weeks to find out what ammo she likes before the July match kicks off... count me in. :)

verry nice ive got one that im thinking of doing someting with been looking at some different barrels ive already worked on the trigger. first one ive ever done alot cleaner and smother than a factory trigger.
