So I've wanted to build a 10/22 bench gun, like all the cool kids have. I bought a used 10/22 from the local range, and gutted it. I kept the receiver and the bolt... I guess that's it. I had a good friend who was in on the project too; we had different end-products in mind.
I went with a Volquartsen FCG and an 18" Shooter's Ridge barrel, he went with the same FCG but a 16" threaded Whistlepig barrel. We both have some variant of the Evolution laminate stock. We both have the equivalent of Hubble jr. for a scope (6x24-50). Mine is the rather subdued grey one, his is the flamboyant red one.
I apologize for the garbage pictures, I had to use my phone for pics since my wife had the camera at the time.
Two targets:
5 shots, 25yds
10 shots, 25 yds
Non-match ammo; I plan to shrink those groups down quite a bit. Those were just function tests.
