I finally moved my 10/22 build up to the front of the line and got it done. I haven't had a chance to get it out and give er' a run down at the range but hopefully soon.
I decided to only install a VQ hammer and springs and bushings. Also a Installed a VQ extractor. The rest of the trigger time was spent polishing the sear and trigger plunger and disconnector. By the time it was all done I now have a sweet 2 pound trigger pull with no creep.
Here is a list of part I used during the build.
KID 18" Match Barrel
Bell & Carlson Target/Varmint Stock - black
VQ Target Hammer, Shims & Bushings
VQ Target Rifle trigger with set stop
VQ Edge Extractor
Tactical Solutions V-Block Barrel Retainer
Tactical Solutions Extended Mag Release
Power Custom Recoil Buffer
Power Custom Weaver Style Scope Mount
Mueller 4.5-14x40 AO APV Scope
Burris Zee Rings medium height
$$ damages were a little high after it was all said and done but what the heck, I'll enjoy it for a lifetime and it should prove to drive tacks.
The reason I chose the stock I did was because it a combination Target/Varmint stock with a wide forend for the bench but with curved edges for carry in the woods. I also like the fact it has the cutout for the rear bag on the bench. Along with sling attachments for carrying. Overall a nice combination stock if you want to do both hunting and benching.
Enough of the technicals... onto the pics
Stock donor rifle
Trigger group goodies
Disassembled Trigger
Finished Trigger Group
Completed 10/22 build
