10/22 magazines in an M1 Carbine pouch

I'm curious... will 10/22 magazines (either a 15 rounder or two coupled 10 rounders) fit in M1 Carbine magazine pouches? I have a 10/22 M1 Carbine clone, and was thinking of getting a pouch for it.

I very seriously doubt it. I have three M1 carbines with mag pouches on them, and they're tough to close with regular 15rd GI mags in them. The 10/22 rotary magazines are far too fat. I'd bet money it wouldn't work.
