I thought someone posted something about Taurus introducing their tracker in 10 mm about a week or two back. Their website didn't have any information about it. Does anyone have any information about this?

Yes, I made the post you mentioned.

Taurus is planing to make two series of 10mm. revolvers using moonclips. The first with be made as a Tracker on their "compact" frame, and chamber 5 rounds. Model # 10TSS4 will have a 4" barrel and come in matt stainless steel.

A larger 6-shot series will be made on their large frame. Again matt stainless steel. Barrel lengths of 6 1/2" (model 10SS6) and 8 3/8" (model 10SS8).

Listed MSRP for the Tracker is $531, and $595 for the larger guns.

I suspect that the website hasen't been updated yet, and I have no idea when these guns will actually be in the hands of dealers.

Lately Taurus has been good at introducting something as a concept, then kills the idea before it even reaches the market. Remember the 9mm Instant Backup? And the 3-caliber Triad?... :scrutiny:

I went looking for purchase info also and noticed they did not appear on the Taurus website. Yo Taurus, lets go some of want to buy these things.

Thanks for the info. I would be very interested in the tracker if they will just get it out on the shelves.

I hope you weren't looking for the Taurus website to house accurate information.

I love the Taurus guns I own, and have been eagerly awaiting the PT1911 for some time now, but according to their website, the 1911 was to ship 4th quarter 2005, but that never happened, and per my call to them last week, they won't ship until late this month.

Ask, and ye shall receive........eventually.........I hope.

I asked a local dealer here at the gunshow if and when. He said hopefully soon and he'd be the first to get one in Tucson. Seems he's hot to get them in too. I gave him my number and told him to give me a call when my Tracker comes in;)
