100 yard shots with my 770 with the vibration dampner

Almost impossible to slip onto the barrel, for me. Tried 2 different positions. No improvement in accuracy. Savage Axis 6.5 Creedmoor, benchrested on 18 power with tested load, with and without the Deresonator. May work for others?

Average accuracy, on 18 power with 140 MB will average 1.09" @100 yds 5 shot groups, 6 groups. Not great, average, ok for hunting. No change with Deresonator

A couple weeks later, i made this crude, 1 pound barrel weight to try on the 6.5. Tried 2 different positions. Didnt help accuracy.

I expected bullet impact to be lower on target at 100 yards, surprise, bullets hit higher. Strange, same scope adjustment & load.

This test used up the last of my 500 Barnes 140 gr Match Burner bullets.

They do work, but you do need to shoot a load or ammo that is some what accurate in the gun. I haven't had time to thread the barrel on my new CZ 457 Varmint 22lr in order to use my ATS tuner, so I installed one of the Limbsaver dampners on the barrel just to see if it would improve my groups. I was surprised with the results.

These two groups were shot without the Limbsaver on the barrel.

This is after I installed it on the barrel. The one flyer was my fault!

Here is a pic of one. Im not sure what barrel profile means. Other than heavy vs thin.

So that's a thinner/lighter hunting barrel profile?
I expect it works better on barrels with more resonance as in lighter barrels compared to bull profile barrels.

Just a SWAG, no experience with damping barrel resonance.

Had a friend that used both that slip on and also a strut arrangement on a couple of mini 14's he owned..........both showed notably better accuracy with the devices..........tho their' kinda award in my view.
