I don't mind two primer sizes for a given caliber, such as 45ACP or 10mm. When the next shortage comes around you can have cases ready for whichever primers you can find.
This is half the reason I ream the primer pockets of any new range brass that comes home and into my collection (large reamer wont fit in small pocket). There is a corner where I put all the found small primer 45 & 10mm cases to sit and feel shame. I buy 8:1 LPP:SPP
