I bought this used online from Gander Mountain a few weeks out of Wichita Ks for $599.99 and had a 3 rnd extended mag tube put on last week. I called Remington and they were able to determine the manufacture date 2009 when the 11-87 Compacts were first made.
Originally it would not not cycle Winchester short brass at all and a bit fussy with Federal, but just ate the Remington shells. The last time I took it out, again flawless with Rem shells and this time no issues with the Federal and very accurate. The Shooters Friend recoil pad completely absorbs all felt recoil.

I plan on it. Already have close to 200 rnds through it,and only have had it a few weeks.

I agree on the start bit. Wish I lived closer to my range, or out in the country. Dunhams has Remington 20 & 12 ga shells on sale for $5.49 box/25 and came home with 50 more rnds. That makes 600 since the sale began last week.

Hit the sales, check for bargains on the Net, and consider reloading.

Shotgunning gets in the blood worse than Hep C. Fortunately, it's not life threatening, just budget threatening....

lol .. I do exactly that .. search the 'net or where ever to get the best prices. Right now it's Dunhams. Otherwise, Walmart has the cheapest price on Federal 100 rnd/box.
