I need a hammer spring for one of our shotguns and from what I am seeing we can no longer get parts for it. So I'm trying to figure out if one of the other shotguns has a hammer spring the same size. So if you don't mind, next time you have your gun stripped down measure the diameter and length of the hammer spring for me. The hammer spring from my Benelli nova is actually the right diameter, but it is too long. I guess I could buy another and cut it down to the correct length. Or if you have another idea where I might be able to find one on my own feel free to let me know. The gun it needs to fit is a High Standard Shadow. Thanks

It's a High Standard, Shadow. I looked at Numrich and didn't see anything.

I looked at the supermatic schematics and they look quite a bit different, but that's not to say that the hammer spring is not the same. There is also no way to be sure unless I ordered it to see.

Wolff Gunsprings sells packages of coil springs. Many different sizes, lengths, diameters, strengths, etc. Some are metric and some are English sizes.

You can buy a package and select the one that fits. You may need to cut it to fit, but that's no big problem.

Sure, it will cost you more than just buying one spring, but you'll be fixed with coil gun springs for life.

Thanks, I had no idea WOLFF offered a package deal on springs. I'll try to track that down.
