Plan to do some hunting this year, hog & deer.
Going to use my Winchester 1300 hunter model with screw in MODIFIED choke tube.
Plan to shoot Remington "Slugger RIFLED Slugs" which states on the box... "Slugger rifled slugs are designed for optimum performance in smooth bore barrels. Rifled slugs may be fired through any choke; however, improved cylinder provides best results."
So two questions;
1. What's the difference between a MODIFIED and IMPROVED choke?
2. Must I buy a screw in IMPROVED choke tube?
