Does anyone have experience with Speer 125 TNT loads? Sub 125 Sierra HP data mins?

I want a load to hit rabbits and coyotes to 300 yards with Marlin, a two shooter is all I need so the pointed bullet magazine stack is not an issue.

Thanks for any advice or experience.

varment load for 30/30 Winchester

We didn't have tnt bullets when I was younger. In Oklahoma for varments we used speer 30 caliber plinkers and worked up a load using 3031 powder.
the plinker is also great in the 30 carbine.
Remington makes them now too. they work in the tubular magizine too. Good reloading

Thanks for the information. I may grab a box of the plinkers and see how they hold to 250-300 yards.

The 100 grain Speer Plinkers will drop like a rock at 300 yards.

Just get some real 30-30 125 FP/HP varmint bullets.
They have a crimp cannulure so you can crimp them to stay put in the tube magazine.

I have used Sierra 125 HP/FP & Speer 130 FP's for years for coyotes.

My old Winchester 94 will sometimes group them nearly MOA at 100 yards with open sights.

I can't say how they would do at 300 yards, because I can't see that far without a scope anymore.
