I've got a Bantam shotgun for my kids. It's great. Has spacers to adjust the length of pull. I was wondering if a 12ga stock would fit or could be modified to fit the 20ga receiver? Thanks.

You're not likely to hurt anything trying it to see if it fits- check without bolting it on, if it fits, then good. If not, no harm done, or at least you will have gotten an idea what you might have do to adapt it to fit.

Well, I note that Mossberg lists their Bantam stocks by reference to the gauge of the shotgun (see here and scroll down until you find the table of stocks and prices, near the bottom of the page). This suggests to me that the shotgun gauge is important in fitting the stock. However, your best bet is to call Mossberg and ask them.

Mossberg 12 and 20 gauge butt stocks are not interchangable . Could you modify the 12 to fit the 20 ? Yes, I guess you could but I'm not sure why you would want to . There are standard length 20 ga. stocks available for not much money.
