15 Rd Mag for the EAA WITNESS Elite Match

I bought a EAA Witness Elite Match pistol and it came with a 15 rd mag-well it will only hold 10 rds. I ordered 2 more 15 rd mags and they only hold 10 rd.There is no way you can get more than 10 rds in them. Do they actually make a 15 mag for the Witness in 40 S&W????

do you have a full size or a compat? I know the compact guns are 10 the full size ones are suposed to be 15 I thought, maybe 14+1 but more than 10 for sure. A quick check reveals that eaa site states 15+1 Funny that 9mm is 18+1 but 38 super(same size just longer than 9mm) is also 15+1

Yes the 40s&w's are 15round mags.Maybe you have 10 round mags but doubtfull,yours would be large frame mags. When new they are hard to load. Do take apart and clean and oil lightly with break free or some other synthetic oil and use a finger nail fill and knife to clean up any plasitc, radius and smooth all edges. Then load your mags to ten rounds and let it set over night and try again tomorrow. I about broke my thumb loading mine at first and still took a couple weeks to get that last round in. Do the mags you have work in your gun? If you do put 10 rounds in and the rounds cover the last hole on the side of the clip and when you clean it there is no block in it they should hold 15 rounds. Another good place for witness info is( brian enos eaa forums )and for accesories and help is (henningshootsguns) Aftermarket mags seem to be all 10 round mags ,seem they don't know the full size frame guns are made but eaa has been good for me and henning is a good place of mags, sites all kinds of upgrades. I think eaa also has a 25 round mag you can order.

My bosses Elite Match 10mm has 15 rnd mags that you can actually put 16 into.

Talk to EAA. My bet is you got 10 rnders that were mis-labeled.

All six of my mags hold 15 rounds. You aren't in California or another state with limits on mag capacity are you?

My Witness is the full size Elite Match 40 S&W.-the mag that came with the gun was supposed to be a 15rd and I ordered 2 more from EAA and the package says 15rd, but will only hold 10. Took the mags apart and with the spring and follower out still will only hold 10 rds NO limit size of mag in New Mexico

Post a photo of your mags , do they have red followers??
I have both 10mm and .40 S&W EAA mags ---- they all hold 15 rds. --- however , there are EAA .40 mags that ONLY hold 10 rds. made for Ban-States.

Did you call eaa about the mags??? Go to the dealer you got it from and tell him to get you the right mags and let it be his problem and besure eaa is aware of it. You may still have got'n a gun ment for a 10 round mag. only state . Could have been the middle man that screwed up to.
