I recently acquired a used, like new, 1791 holster for my 4" GP100. Hard to fully insert the revolver, due to the holster not having a sight channel molded in. The 1791 line of holsters looks good. Finished well and has double stitching where it's needed
I removed the front sight, taped a pencil to the barrel. wrapped the revolver in a plastic bag, and gently wet the inside and outside of the holster (for the sight channel). I inserted the GP100, hand boned the holster and let it dry overnight. Now fits great and looks great too.
Anyone else using 1791 holsters? Do you like them?
