I have a 1890 Winchester that I'm thinking of selling. The gun looks and shoots good. I haven't kept up with the value on this gun.

To those of you that might know, what's this rifle worth?

I'll give you $25.00 for it and will send you a copy of my C&R.

(Just kidding.)

What condition is it in? Any idea of what year it was manufactured? I really like my 1906, and wouldn't take a million bucks for it since it was the first gun I ever fired. The Winchester pumps get a premium these days.

Depends a lot on when it was built and the condition. First model, second model .... but Eastman show in Atlanta this weekend, I think the ones I saw were well north of 500, some over 1000.

The model 90's that usually bring the bucks, for that particular model anyway, are the ones in 22 WRF. If it's in good condition, I'd say $450-$600. Mint condition, even more.

It's the second model made in 1905. It's in very good condition, and all original. The barrel is octogan. The gun is blue, not one of the case hardened ones.

I'm unable to post a picture here, but can email pictures.

That should be toward the higher end in value. It seems that when they are single calibers, as opposed to S, L, LR they have a higher value for collectors.
