What is the best brand of 10 rd 1911 magazines

i don't know about "the best", but but the standard CMC 10 rounders run fine in my 1911.

Tripp Cobra mags are top notch. Wilson would be another good 10 rounder. I have Tripp Cobra 10rd 1911 9mm and Chip McCormick Power10 mags in 45acp. Both have been flawless.

I'll just say: Don't buy the cheap knock-offs. They are without a doubt terrible. I bought two several years ago like a fool and they simply don't work.

+1 ... So many people seem to think el-cheapo magazines are acceptable. They buy a relatively expensive gun then want the cheapest magazines they can find.

For me it's either OEM, Mec-Gar or the premium brands you've mentioned.
