they will fit the 22/45 as long as it's the MKIII replaceable panel version with bushings installed. You'll have to round off the bottom rear corner of the 1911 grips. IIRC the OEM ruger "RP" models use slim/profile 1911 grip thickness and slim bushings. Don't quote me on that. But I've seen a lot of 1911 panels on 22/45s.

I don't know about the MKIV 22/45 assuming there is one.
 
On the original 22/45 you can grind off the grip swell and drill/epoxy 1911 grip studs in place, and use 1911 grips.

The Ruger 22/45 is definitely a nice gun, but I chose this Browning Buck Mark Target over 20 years ago and never looked back. It is by far the most accurate rimfire handgun I have ever shot. It has an amazing trigger and has only failed to fire on one occasion, due to it being dirty after shooting a brick of ammunition through it. I love the sights but also love the full length rail. I have mounted handgun scopes and red dots on it for a change of pace and to accommodate my aging eyes.
