I'm about to take a Kimber Custom II to a gunsmith to optimize it for bullseye shooting.
Over the last 4 years, it shot over 10.000 manufactured FMJ rounds (flawlessly I must say).
From now on, the pistol will shoot only LSWC with reduced loads.
1st question:
I'll ask the gunsmith to expertise the barrel, but even though there wouldn't be any significant wear and tear sign, would this be a good time to replace the barrel with a brand new one?
Here's a list of the jobs I plan:
Does all this make sense?
3rd question:
Did I forget something?
Thank you for your advice,

Here's a list of the jobs I plan:
- Remove existing sights, mount RRA cover-up rib.
- Match bushing fitment
- Roll trigger (kcskustomcreations.com) installation
- Recoil and mainspring replacement with correct weight
- Tune extractor for 90° ejection with reduced loads
- General accurizing service
Does all this make sense?
