I've searched for this particular problem in this forum and did not find this exact issue, apologies for the bother if I overlooked an existing answer, not out to reinvent the wheel.

Gun: Kimber Gold Match (series 1, no firing pin stop)
Ammo: 100% my reloads, 5.3 gr HP38, Berry's 200gr copper plated flat nose
Magazine: Wilson Combat 47D

The failure to eject problem is totally consistent in one way and not in another. The consistent part is that it always happens on the second to last round. In other words on the shot that is fired with one round left in the magazine, that fired case is not ejected. The remaining live round is always dislodged out of the magazine such that if I drop the magazine the unfired round drops out after the magazine. The fired case is usually jammed between the ejector on the one side and the wall of slide on the other side. Generally takes a fair amount of wiggling to get it freed up. The inconsistent part is when it happens. Generally about once every 10-15 magazines.

I go to the range with 5 magazines, all 47D's. I have only recently marked them to see if a particular magazine is a part of the issue.

Any help appreciated.....RedWing

Check the extractor tension and magazine spring strength. Does it do this with any other magazine?
