1911 holster

OK, I'm trying to find a holster for a friend of mine, he is a big fan of 1911's and had been using one for the past few years, unfortunetly he doesn't have a holster for it. So I'm trying to find a good holster, it is a rock island 1911 single stack 5 inch barrel .45 (of course). it won't be used for concealed carry, mostly just at the range and a few other places. i think a belt one would be the best from what I've seen (he often uses a Super Blackhawk that his father bough a long time ago, and has the cowboy type holster). I look at some earlier but they were going for about $100 and I am hoping there might be better options out there, thanks.

i use a tagua holster when i'm just walking around the property for my 1911's.

set me back a whopping 30 bucks. and they make decent leather in my opinion.

Tagua is great for the money I bought a Bianchi for about $70.

Any 1911 deserves a leather rig. I have a Galco Combat Master and I love it. Costs about $60 if you look around, it may be had for cheaper.

I agree with the Combat Master. It's probably the most comfortable holster I own.

How about a nice cheap Safariland?
It's very comfortable, suede lined black leather.
