The first time i used the mag i put about 100 flawless rounds threw it.
Today i go back to the range and nothing but issues.
Now either the mag spring is bunk, Or i assembled it wrong.

The issue was it wouldnt hold the slide back on the last round, and it also created one failure to go into battery as the mag let the round loose too soon and it was in front of the extractor.

So if pic 1 is correct im screwed and need to order either a new Wilson mag or a Wilson spring and follower.

I assembled it according to pic1.

Pic one and two look the same to me. Looks right. Did you get the "hook" under the follower in the spring right? 3 & 4 are wrong.

Sorry i fixed the pic of #2
The spring want to slide forward from under the the hook. Should the hook lock the spring in place?
Im used to plastic followers, So much easier.
But this mag was flawless and then baserk today so i know i had something wrong.

DasFriek:

#1's correct.... The little clippie thing on the bottom of the follower should engage the loop at the top of the spring.

Feed issues could be the result of a drop or getting bent in the range bag. Try another magazine if you can find one - the gun should happily accept "standard" magazines for test purposes.

You may want to bend that little hook a bit. None of this should matter much.

And the spring stays BEHIND the clip right?

I did some searches on Google and the all mention putting the spring in first and compressing it down and then put the follower in, This made the top springs front tip stay behind the clip and all seems good.

I kept letting the front of the top spring past the clip and the spring kept going forward.
I bent the little clip up a bit to help retain it and also put a tad more upward angle on the top spring.

So all sound good?
Besides from the last shot not holding the slide back it was working, But thats not good enough for a ccw mag as we all know.

Thanks for the help!
