I've had good results with McCormick Power Mags; a friend really likes Tripp, and my gunsmith uses Metalform 7 shot.

Wilson 47D's are pretty popular. So are Chip McCormick's Power Mags.

I have used the 47D's & CMC Power Mags too.

Both work flawlessly (much better than my Dan Wesson mags).

I use nothing but Wilson Combat mags and they have worked great for me.

I have a little bit of everything. My military issue mags, Novak, Metalform, Wilson Combat, Chip McCormick, and Tripp mags have ALL fed well.

However, when I carry my 1911 (which is every day) I bet my life on the Tripp mags.
