1911 mags that work.

I have quite a few 1911 mags. My RIA's came with Novaks that work, I have factory Colt and mil surplus mags, some CMC's, a couple Wilson 47D's, assorted others.

The best are the Checkmate hybrid lip, dimpled follower ones.

These right here:

They also offer a 7 rd, if you'd like to be conservative, but I have never had a failure with these mags. I have like 10 of them.

They are also my carry mag in my Dan Wesson. (Two came with it) Pablo can rest easy as they are every bit as reliable as Glock factory mags.

My RIA won't run on "surplus" mags or the gun show cheapies.

Came with ACT mags from the factory so I bought a couple more. Finally tract down an ACT mag 7 rounder that I love since it keeps the original lines and functions perfectly for me.

GI mags are great, some pistols get fussy with 8 rounders, but work fine when only 7 rounds are loaded in the mags. I learned long ago the hazards of some of the generic imported mags. Check the feed lips and the cut for the mag latch.
