1911.. my most accurate one

I have had a few plastic guns... Not anymore, I always go back to 1911s. Now I learned plastic just isn't for me.

I only have one 1911. A Colt 1991A1 with a mish-mosh of Colt factory parts. Since it's my only one, to say that it's my most accurate is kind of a given. I will say though that it is the semi-auto I shoot most accurately. There is only one handgun I have that I can shoot more accurately than the Colt. My S&W model 19-3. But I can shoot the Colt more accurately at speed.

Just bought my 5th 1911. It ain't this one. No pics yet.
This Colt Combat Elite shoots 2'' groups @ 25yds off a rest. Kinda surprised me. 185gr SWC over 4grs Clays

BTW, I have a few M&P's. They shoot great, but they aren't 1911's.

These shoot pretty good too, and they're not 1911's! Maybe its the Indian and not the arrow?

As long as it has tight bushing and lockup, those 1911s will hold tight groups.

Nice gun, tarosean. I checkered the frontstrap and did the frame to slide fit on your gun when I was working for Les. I have always thought the Monolith was the best looking of all the guns we made.
