The issue for me with the Tripp upgrade kits for the Wilson 47D is you lose a round down to 7, same with Wilson Officers & Kimber stock 7 round officers mags. down to 6.

The issue for me with the Tripp upgrade kits for the Wilson 47D is you lose a round down to 7, same with Wilson Officers & Kimber stock 7 round officers mags. down to 6.

This isn't an issue with Wilson Combat ETMs and Check-Mate springs and followers. I replaced the followers and springs in two ETMs today to test them with new Check-Mate dimpled followers and extended tube magazine springs. Magazine capacity is still at eight and the followers feel very smooth in the tube. I upgraded a number of followers in other magazines to dimpled CM followers and new springs as well.

My wife uses Wilson 7-round OACP mags exclusively in her SA Micro Compact Operator. ZERO problems.

CM 6 round with Hybrid feed lips

CM 7 round with Hybrid feed lips

The only thing better would be GI feed lips like they make in a 7 round full size mag.

The CM GI style mag can make a finicky gun run. A really good gun can use a wider variety of mags.
