Ok, there is no purpose to this picture other than to say I was messing with the camera and some new handgun display things - the coated wire holders. I'm always looking for more efficient ways to store things in the safe. Not a great picture but it shows a few of the 1911s that are my favorite shooters... and one non-1911 (I hope the 1911 guys will forgive me )
Here you have... L to R... a very custom Springfield that began life as a "Basic" model, that sports some S&W sights that was a popular thing to do back in the 80s (it has a satin blue finish), a relatively box-stock Springfield TRP, a Kimber Pro Carry in .38 Super (favorite carry piece), a Sig "Fastback" and in front, a very custom Hi-Power that also has S&W sights on it, with a complete factory slide assembly with original factory sights.
I know most of us enjoy peeking at everyone else's guns, so here you go:
(Caveat: after taking this picture, all of them were lost in a boating accident while I was ferrying my safe across a large, unnamed lake. )
