I have bought the very compact Para Warthog 3" .45 10+1 and a SA Micro 3" .45. 6-7 +1.
The Warthog had nosedives on last round (#11) on both mags, replaced with wolf springs now shoots every time.FMJ + JHP
SA Micro had feeding problems sent back to SA twice now shoots very nice.
Haven't shot JHP with it yet.
Both 3" little guns are working fine.Funny that they don't kick any more then a full size 1911 but they tend to jump up if you forget and don't lock your wrist when shooting.

My only experience with a short .45 is my wife's Kimber Ultra CDP. Her first handgun, and I must say I think she chose wisely.

Despite the idiot salesman at the gunshop trying to make her afraid of the light .45's recoil (she's an experienced deer hunter, and basically rolled her eyes at the thought of a .45 "hurting), this has been an excellent gun.

We've fed a variety of ball ammo through it, and had no failures to feed, no failures of any kind and she's already trusting it as her daily CCW.

The gun just handles and shoots beautifully, right out of the box.

"So even counting the flyer that I pulled to the right that little 45 will shoot a 5 inch group at 48 yards.
I'm sure a better shooter could tighten that group an inch or two."

M2,
Good shooting in anybody's book.

I have owned two V10's, one bi-tone and one all stainless. The bi-tone was reliable, but shot 3" low at 20ft. It was traded for a Kimber Classic Stainless

The SS V10 has been 100% reliable, hits point of aim and digests every brand of ammo I've fed it. It is a KEEPER!
