As the title says, I have an Eddystone that's drilled & tapped on the side (left) and I need best recommendations for a scope mount. I have a Weaver bracket to work with, but it looks like anything built to go on it would put the scope over the left side of the receiver instead of center (would rather have it centered). Any recommendations? Thanks in advance! -The "Col."

I have an Eddystone that someone fubared the top rear of the receiver. So it got passed down to me. I used one Weaver Remington 30 base on the top of the front with the existing holes and some JB Weld to make it secure.

Then I installed Tasco 2000 micro red-dot. It's a great combo for less than 100 yds. Both eyes open.

The tiny red-dot floats on the target. It's light and very easy to pack. Once my buds shot it, they are like "I'm goinna build one". I would take it over any off-set scope mount ...

There is more discussion of the 1917 vs civilian version (Model 30) with pictures of scope mounts and such here: https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...-for-sale-isnt-it-just-a-1917-enfield.861504/ :)
