I picked up this project at an auction a few years ago. It is a 1917 Enfield that was sporterized and re-barreled to .300 wby mag. This work done to it was very well done, not a hack job. The stock it came with is a really heavy bech reast stock. It is a nice shooter, just to heavy of a stock to pack in the woods. I had planned to use this for moose hunting. Does anyone know of a place that makes stocks for these other than Boyds. It has a flattened trigger guard / bottom metal, so I can't use boyds stocks.
Thanks in advance for any help.
