I speak one language fluently and another semi-fluently. I don't go to other countries and expect them to speak English. I certainly wouldn't live anywhere and not learn and speak the established language either. It would be disrespectful, insulting, and arrogant to expect another nation to assimilate to me. If that makes me a racist then I guess I'm a racist.

I too speak English fluently. I expect others that come to MY country to do the same. When traveling abroad, it is only common courtesy to attempt to speak the hosts language. This is especially true if you are living in that country! However, we live in the US, therefore we must cater to the lowest common denominator.
