1985 Taurus PT 92af fixed sight 9mm

    I love it. Love that it doesn't have a hammer drop on it. Shoots anything and never a malfunction. I use it as my EDC. I know... To big , to heavy. But I am proportionate for carrying this type of full size gun. It is a bit heavy, but I got use to it. Clothes I wear don't cause it to print either.
    I think Taurus hit a home run when they made this gun 37 years ago.

    I have an adj sight PT99AF of the same Era.

    Kind of retired now but I did carry it as a duty pistol (plain clothes) for about 5 years. Always did its job.

    I would carry that every day before any typical trendy polystriker.

    Nice gun, OP. :thumbup:
    For a whi!e there, from about '84-2004 Taurus build quality was right on par with Beretta and Smith & Wesson.
    I wouldn't touch their new stuff with a long pole.:(

    My mom and son both have pt92 pistols. Comparing my moms newer one it seems not to be any different.

    I have one and the 40sw version pt100. They been good to me. I have a 30 round mag for the 92. That is a hoot to run 30 rounds .
