I have been shooting handguns for about 7 1/2 yrs now. I usually shoot right here in my back yard. But today I decided to visit a indoor gun range.
So me and my nephew broke out the 357mag and 100 rds of ammo and headed to the nearest handgun range. (Marcus Smith Outdoor World) in LaGrange Ga. The people there were very nice to us and we didnt have to worry about any b itching neighbors calling the law. :D We both had a great time and if any of you live in the West GA area I highly recommend ( Marcus Outdoor World) The fee was only $7 an hour. Because we were New to the Range We only had to pay for one shooter and of course the targets. I had fun.;)

Now only if I could find a rifle range.

I do 99.99% of my shooting at an indoor range. They can be a lot of fun, especially if weather or sunlight is an issue. Why not ask the guys at the indoor range for where they shoot their long guns? ;)

10 Ring, You read my mind my man..:) I cant remember when I had so much fun.:) My or our next visit will be at Shooters of Columbus (GA)http://shootersofcolumbus.com They have guns for rent. WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Ill be like a kid in a candy store.:)

Lesson learn by my nephew never ever take off your ear protection at an indoor range.;)

I understand that there's a rifle range at Ft. Benning that goes to 500m. Not sure if it's membership only or what. Do a search here for Ft. Benning and you should find the post.

Bring a 44 mag to an indoor range

It's simply louder than anything else

And you generate a pretty good concussion wave from the cylinder gap!

I do all of my range shooting at an indoor range. Unless you get up real early, it's just too hot in central Tejas to do a lot of outdoor shooting in the afternoons.

Yeah, I'm a wuss

:)
