2009 Kel Tec needs fluff and buff?

Hey,

All the complaints about the Kel Tec P3AT being unreliable are for the older guns, right? I bought a new Kel Tec in early 2009 and I have never fired it. Will it need a fluff and buff?

You won't know for sure until you fire it and see how it works.
Some "fluff and buff" probably will be required in any case. All I ever did to my pair of P3ATs was polish the feed ramp.
If you don't want to be disappointed the first time you fire it then go ahead and do some of the F&B, maybe just polish the feed ramp and see how it goes.
