The 2009 Texas Legislative Session is just around the corner. I have opened the Bill Status Report on www.TexasCHLforum.com for the 2009 Session and it already has some gun-related bills that were prefiled.

It's going to be an interesting session folks, so please keep informed of the bills and issues. Your input will be needed and timing of those calls, faxes and emails is critical, as it is every session.

    Thanks,
    Chas.

Sounds like nothing but bad news so far. One bill to require licensing of "stun guns" and classify them as firearms and to require a carry permit for one.

    That's no good.

SB94 if you wanna write your rep.

If I was a billionaire, I would hire lawyers to go after "arms" that have been successfully regulated...

They come out with Less than Lethal devices and then regulate them more strictly than guns.... *** is the point then?
